About Me

Dani Borer, MA, LPC (Ohio), LPCC (Colorado)

Hello! I’m Dani Borer (they/them/theirs), a non-binary therapist originally from San Diego, California. My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but traditional. I’ve faced my own struggles and challenges in life. Through my experiences, I’ve come to deeply understand the value of perseverance and growth, and I’ve learned the profound impact of holding space for others. This journey has shaped my approach to therapy, where I combine analytical skills with an understanding of the need to be seen, valued, and heard.

I offer telehealth therapy services for adult clients in Colorado, providing a safe and supportive space for healing and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and post-modern narrative therapy. I believe in creating an empathetic and collaborative environment where clients can explore their stories, gain new perspectives, and reframe their experiences. By emphasizing the power of personal narrative, I help clients uncover their strengths, rewrite limiting beliefs, and move towards meaningful change.

I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ as well as peri- and postpartum individuals, offering support as they navigate the challenges and transitions during this pivotal time. I work with clients addressing depression, anxiety, grief, childhood trauma, self-esteem, life-transitions, and relationship issues. My goal is to provide a space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore and grow.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy being out in nature with spouse and two kiddos—whether it’s running, backpacking, hiking, scuba diving, or gardening.

If you’re ready to take the first step towards healing, I would love to connect. Please feel free to reach out for a consultation or to ask any questions.
